Please read the terms and conditions carefully:

1. The charter is for Club members only.
2. Sailing facilities not listed above are not for hire.
3. Each member is allowed to charter up to 2 crafts only per day.
4. The hirer must meet requirements set by the Club. 
5. Boats are allocated based on first-come-first-served availability. Boats may be reserved by members up to 2 days in advance by emailing [email protected] / [email protected] or calling 27190926.
6. The hire form should be completed, signed by the hirer and returned to the Hebe Haven Yacht Club (HHYC) Sailing Office before charters take place. 
7. The charter is non-transferrable and members are required to sail the craft.
8. Participants/hirers agree to wear safety equipment at all times, which includes buoyancy aids and helmets, waterproof whistles and mobile phones for emergency calls. 
9. Hirers understand that no safety cover will be provided during their hire, and the risks inherent to activities on the water.
10. All boats and equipment MUST be returned before 5:30 PM the same day.
11. The hired equipment shall be properly cared for, de-rigged and left in a tidy condition in the allocated parking space after use. 
12. All club property users are advised to report any defects or missing equipment they find prior to the hire, as they will be responsible for the damage/loss found after use. 
13. In the event of any damages or loss of any items, the member shall be responsible for the cost of repairing/replacing the said damages or loss.
14. HHYC will not accept any liability for material damage, personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after their hire or participation in HHYC events
15. HHYC reserves the right to forfeit hire should the users compromise their own or others’ safety, including possible damage to equipment or during adverse weather conditions.

Terms and Conditions for Download

A maximum of 28 passengers may be carried, excluding the crew. All passengers must be members or guests of members accompanied by the relevant member. 

Fishing or Boat Towing is not permitted.

In the event of a Typhoon Signal No. 3 or higher or other hazardous weather conditions, as assessed by the Club, bookings will be cancelled, and no fee will be charged – in such cases, you will be notified by the Club. If a cancellation is made by the hirer, the following fees shall still apply:
